Julie Ehrentraut, from Seed Born Foods, spoke about organizing the Locke Harvest Festival.  She wants the event to be focused on community involvement and giving local businesses the opportunity to get known.  The main draw is a chili cook off, to be made on site, with first, second, third, and a people’s choice awarded.  Old style carnival games will be set up with prizes supplied by Julie.  She is looking for entries in the chili cook off and volunteer help for the event.  The club will be running a pumpkin carving station at the event.

Bryan Wyckoff (apologies if that is not spelled correctly), was a guest of Tom.  He is interested in joining our rotary club!!

Stuart reported that the 1 in 15000 Ride raised $6339 for Golisano Children’s Hospital.

Colleen is planning to organize (or at least have volunteers) for a 5k run during Christmas in Moravia.

Foundation update: we are at 33% ($2880 goal), which is good for 2nd per capita.

Youth Exchange 50th anniversary gala dinner will be January 6th at the Holiday Inn in Liverpool.

International Convention is June 23-27 in Toronto. Our district conference is April 27-29 in Corning.  As many club members as possible should attend both.
